The Music House was founded in 1995 as an initiative at Kibbutz Yizre'el and currently serves as the central music school for the Gilboa Regional Council.
Since its inception, the Music House has trained and nurtured generations of instrumentalists and vocalists of all ages, helping them develop into musicians.
Special emphasis is placed on community engagement, transforming music education into a tool for empowering diverse populations,
fostering Jewish-Arab cooperation,
and creating a cultural hub that initiates and hosts regional cultural events.
Goals and Objectives:
To turn every student into a musician at heart: Instrumental performance, singing, ensemble work, music theory, and music history are integrated into extensive musical activities, as well as concerts and musical events featuring both students and teachers.
The "Amal" Emek Harod School Music Program: We operate a music program for high school students, preparing them for matriculation exams at the 5-unit level, in addition to a final matriculation recital on their respective instruments.
The "Amadeus" Program: Teachers from the Jezreel-Gilboa Music Center run "Amadeus," an instrumental and vocal instruction program, in elementary schools across the Gilboa Regional Council. The "Amadeus" program takes place during the regular school day. Developed by Stas Gavrilov—director of the Music Center—the program offers added value: enriching the cultural atmosphere of the schools (ceremonies, holidays, and special events), helping to reduce violence, and improving the academic grades of participating students.
"Amadeus Gold" Program: An ongoing collaboration between "Dorot BaGilboa" and the Music House has spawned a new initiative for instrumental music lessons!
In recent years, learning to play an instrument later in life has become a popular hobby both in Israel and around the world. Your musical background is irrelevant; all that matters is a genuine passion. The Music House invites seniors to fulfill their dreams and learn to play—ranging from piano and strings to wind instruments—through this joint initiative with "Dorot BaGilboa."
A Cultural Hub in the Valleys: The Music House initiates and produces music-related cultural events that are open to the general public.
A Musical Community: Unique ensembles are currently being formed for residents of the Valleys who wish to develop their musical skills through guided group sessions at the Music House.
In November 2014, the Music House became a non-profit organization: the Jezreel-Gilboa Music House.

To use music as a vehicle for personal advancement, development, and empowerment, while simultaneously strengthening the community in which it operates.
To foster musical and social cooperation between the Jewish and Arab residents of the region.
